Where can i get a new rear derailer drop out for a trek 3700 mtb?

You'll have to try one of the bike shops that stocks Trek - there are many. They may have to order it for you though.

As far as I know this particular dropout is a very common one and should be easy to find .

ANDREW, WHY DID YOUR DROP OUT BREAK OFF, BEFORE PUTTING ON A NEW DROP OUT HAVE YOUR BIKE CHECKED AS PERHAPS THERE IS SOMETHING CAUSING IT TO BREAK AND ALSO HAVE THE REAR DROP OUT ALIGNMENT CHECKED ONCE YOU HAVE A NEW ONE INSTALLED AS WITHOUT THIS YOU WILL HAVE POOR SHIFTING PERFORMANCE

a friend gave me the bike, it had fallen of his bike rack and he a dragged it along the road for a bit and then reveresd over the wheel bending the wheel and the drop out.
