Fantastic race but the vaalie suffered in the mud. Hit a couple of trees sliding around in the single track, missed the turn down the steep concrete strips and dropped the chain a couple of times but man it was fun! Wish we had terrain like that around Jozi. Lucky Mankele is only 2 weeks away.

Was my first time at Hilton and I love the area.

Mud and lots of climbing made it probably the hardest Marathon I have done this year. Suffered like a dog those last couple of k's!

That is 100% typical of the kind of terrain us KZN riders play in all the time!!!
