We've spoken about this before bru. S15 league trophy is like my gold medal for the kiddies 2 k fun ride at the school fete MTB race. Lucky you ous are playing Gio at 15 today, might have a chance. Please ask if he can come play for the Sharks next year.

You funny, Benjamin.

But there is something hollow about the S15 Top of the Log silverware.

Those Sharkies are looking potent.

I'm wishing for a Coastal Team final!

Yeah you won't find much love here. You cannot take a problem and throw money at it and think you have solved it. Last night there wasn't much transformation happening (I am not upset about it) but they used that term so many times to get the S15 franchise to EC.

It's great that we have it and all but all the promises and conditions they gave are already being broken. They now wanting to buy a couple of Argentinians. Yesterday I spoke to Mzwandile Stick (old 7's captain) and he left the game of 7s to join the kings and he said they dont even want to bench him. Norman Nelson one of the better wings around and he managed to get a seat on the bench. Mbiyozo benches for Luke whole season now Luke injured and he is still on bench. Things not adding up

I don't like the approach of the Kings. I hope they pull it off but they still have a lot of things to put in place at lower levels of rugby before they can gain success at the top

I thought everyone in the bay was rallying a kings army in support for them?

I must agree about leaving Nelson and Mbiyozo out, but as for mass transformation they cant do this in 2 months, not even the first year of super rugby, their no 1 objective should be to survive then transformation. With SARU only giving them one year to prove themselves, they absolutely have to buy players to be competitive and still it will be a stretch.I really believe that its good for SA rugby to have the fear of finishing bottom of the log in all competitions to avoid being relegated. they really have a massive challenge to be ready by Super rugby kick off as they have never played at the level of rugby as the cheetahs showed their maturity last night and taught them a lesson. Time will tell and I hope they beat the force in their opening game in a packed Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium next year.

only allowed 2 overseas players in squad, they've already got 4.

As for bringing in overseas players, Sanzar allows 2 foreign players per team but every new team has appealed this and been granted permission to increase these numbers, Force were allowed 6 and the Rebels 10 in their opening season!! and still have more than two in their current squads, it only makes sense that the kings would apply for the same permissions. This is to ensure that new teams enter the competition being able to compete and not start out as whipping boys.

There's the Mighty All Blacks to overwhelm the Wallabies today still - a Bledisloe Cup fixture.

PVR - engage!

@ Dogfish

Yes they were informed a few months ago about their inclusion in Super Rugby, however the Kings Brand has been going since middle of 2009. What Transformation has been done in 3 years in the Currie cup ranks?

Yes they have started am academy and I know of a few youngsters they are signing up but it still isn't a enough

Yes I am from Pe and I even played for them for 3 seasons but I am not convinced about their inclusion because it was an political inclusion and I honestly don't think there is place for politics in Sport

I agree! politics, whether its publicly known or behind the scenes should stay the hell away from sport, and unfortunately i think with the kings politics did play a role and may continue.

Sweet, Wobbalies going to get clobbered. Might even end up watching. Supposed to go ride this afternoon but persisting with rain here, not sure I feel like getting muddy.

No problem. I'm game. Should probably change from the S15 trophy that we never won anyway.

I'll use nickc's pic from yesterday as a show of respect for the Bulls if they win.

If they fielded a proper team....like the Griquas it would be great. These guys are pathetic. Grey College first team would be an overmatch for them.

Hopefully the super 15 results in financial ruin for them. At the end of the day its a business and they will need to pay all the rugby players that they are buying. Bad results will hopefully equate to bad revenues for them....

I don't think the Aussies have the slightest chance ever of winning this

And the Aus make me eat my words. Well done for that fight they put up

A draw is actually good result by taking away the NZ winning record
