Ping Admin..... Mobile Website...... AGAIN!!!!!!

I have been noticing strange things on the mobi website recently. The posting "Scuba diving in Dubai" by Wayne_Potgieter the II came up with Guy in Pink's name. This has happened a few times with other postings and also clicking on one topic may open totally a different unrelated topic. If you close the site and open it again there is no probem. Anybody else has the same problem???

Where are you seeing these issues? Home page, topic listing, next to the posts themselves?

 

Also what devices are you using to access the mobile site?

 

I've tested on a few and can't replicate what you're describing.

It's no big deal (for me) just a curiosity. But it did get me checking posts I thought were active but weren't until I realized this.

Happening on the first mobile page (https://www.bikehub.co.za/) with top most topics (not 'home').

Using iPhone4.

Using Android. Samsung Galaxy Note. The page below opened when I switched on now. I clicked on the Toll road thread. Exited and on the "No More!" theread it showed that I posted. I know I did not but opened it. No post was there from me, I closed it and it showed Dirt Rider posted on the same thread. I looked on my laptop and he did not post.

 

If I now exit and come back all is OK.

Matt, no issues with the mobile site. One silly though. The last post ID is often wrong. Love how it takes you to the post after the last one you read! That's a cool feature. Using a basic BB.

Are you referring to the "Latest Forum Posts" section on the mobi site home page? I've updated it so the link will take you to the latest unread post instead of just the latest post... it is a nice feature and makes much more sense this way.

 

(This will only work if you're logged in on the mobi site)
