I had of the first incarnations of the Evil Eye and the lenses scratches incredibly easy. Not sure about the newer version.

Currently have Rydon's and Exowind's and they are really good. I have had the Exowinds for a over an year and the lenses are almost perfect.

So I would go for Rudy's

its all about personal prefrence, the addidas doesnt sit comfy on my face, and I had a pair of rudy's, the clear lenses on the rudy's are ok for winter, but your basically in most cases forced to buy a pair of "grey" dark lenses, which i found doesnt get dark enough in summer, and I also couldnt see any real effect when they transitioned "lighter" in darker forested sections. Also the it doesnt mist up line "bulsh!t" they mist up big time, and the lenses are really soft and scratch easily.

I moved from that to a pair of jawbones, one with polarized lenses and another with the standard vented iridium lenses. I now only wear my polarized jawbones, I have never felt the need for another pair of glasses, they are comfy as hell, dont move around, and they only mist when your sweating profusely and not moving. The minute you move the mist dissapears within seconds.

I can highly recomend.

But all the above my personal tastes and expericance.

And scratch resistance and stuff?? I checked the rudy's claimed they'll survive a strike from a hammer?

Claims can be disproved - ask my Rudy's - they will scratch but not break. BUT saying that, they scratched relatively little compared to the abuse I have given them.

I have the Rudy Noyz - prefer the shape

the rudy is flexable 100% but scratch incredibly easy, its like it has a soft gellish compound i bought 4 pairs of lenses in 2 months cause i cant handle scratches, my jawbones, have fallen off so many times when forget they are stuck in my helmet or i clip them into my shirt etc, and only very minor scratches from a long period of abuse, it also comes with a scratch removal pen which i found works quite well on these hairline scratches.

Sounds good... Seems no1 is keen on the evil eyes.. They were my choice before i started asking you guys..

I have two pairs of Rudy.

Definitely tough. Both fell to the tarmac or coffee shop floor at least a few times.

The one is the, more practical, photochromatic Rydon, I think, for autumn and winter mornings.

The other is my fave, the funky Gozen, for spring and summer:

I have Rudy's and my dogs (lab x ridge and lab x rottie) have played soccer with them and I've had a tumble or two with them and still fine after 5 years. I use the optical inserts and the clear lenses after dark and the grey lenses in the day. I have incredibly sensitive eyes and love my Rudy's (I've had corneal grafts in both eyes).
