now that's how you convey experience. Nice write up Crow

but i have to agree, those revelations are incredible forks They look spindly compared to lyriks or double crown forks, but the minute u hit that trail hard, it feels bottomless in the rough and soaks up medium size drops fantastically well. A fork that comes highly recommended. I regret selling mine.

What I have noticed with the Rev is just how easy and quick it is to get it nice and plush, but still balanced. Lyrik was a bit more difficult to blend full travel with small bump performance and big hit control. Turned out it came from the factory with not enough of the good stuff inside so a service by CCS made a big difference. But still, the Rev has been a big surprise after a couple of years on a 36 Talas / 36 Float and now the Lyrik. And it blows Fox's 32 out of the water.

Definitely the best trail / light AM fork on the market today.

Back to the RP. I think part of the problem is Fox's marketing department desire to get a one shock for all solution. Same platform being used from a 4" bike right up to some of the biggest hitting 6" bikes on the market today. Yeah they use different tunes and all the rest, but still. You can only push it so far.

we suck :(

Major suckage. Actually thinking of getting a Revelation again. Like Crow says, for most of the time it's just as good as any Fox 36 or Lyrik. And because there's so much less weight up front, I find it's much easier to jump and negotiate drops. Maybe it's just me and my lack of proper AM skills....
