I use the velcro strap that is supplied with it. If you fix it to the MTB, then you have to buy another one for the road bike.....

So what the problem is? I have a chip on each bike, cabletied to the fork. Easy!

What I found works quite well is to thread the chip through one of the velcro straps of my shoes. I have one strap that never moves, it goes on there. When I cross a mat, I just unclip and hang the foot.. I am sure this is not even needed, I just do it coz it looks cool and the chicks dig it!
