I have been using the Northface Gulper hydration pack for almost three years and recently started to search for replacement parts such as the Bite Valve and pipe.

Due South could not help me who is the sole distributor of this product as far as I know. They said that they do not stock replacement parts like Camelback does.

Where can one find replacement parts for Northface?

The NorthFace packs make/made use of the Nalgene hydration systems. I hated mine since all 3 I had leaked at the top cap/bladder interface. Drifters should have spares for sure.

Also having looked (briefly) at the First Ascent system, their bite valve looks very much the same so perhaps check that out too.

Thank you for the information, I just located the Drifters shop and phoned them. They referred my back to Due South.

Due South in Sandton just told me that I should try Venture for Africa.

I refused to pay the crazy prices for a new bladder and bought one from Mr. Price. I extended the hose with water feature hose from Mica and bought a Camelbak bite valve for R100 bucks. Works like a charm for my longer rides.

Venture for Africa, said to me that they do not stock any Northface products.

Apparently Due South lost the contract.

Interesting, Northface clothing line is the best in my opinion, is Due South not part of the Edcon group.? Maybe its just too small a line for them.! Sounds like a nice little business opportunity is going begging.!! Hmmmm.!

I will be in the USA 24th May - 25 June, if you dont get one and can wait I'll pick one up for you, but otherwise, I think probably the best is to buy one on line.

Hi GrumpyoldGuy,

Thank you for the offer, we are participating in Sani2c second week of May so unfortunately will not be in time. Super_mil gave me good information in regards to the Nalgene components and it looks like the items I am searching for. Amazon has some between $4 and $13 but if I don't manage I will definitely contact you even if it is not in time for the Sani.

Due South is part of the Foschini Group (TFG).
