Enve has launched their 3.4 clincher version at a weight of 1411g with Chris King hubs. Would you buy this wheelset, or would you go for a deeper rim like their 6.7 bearing in mind that most of our races are in bunches where you are more protected. Also the 3.4 would be a better climber. The 6.7 clincher's weight will be in the region of 1600g which is the same weight as my current 65 clincher wheelsetpost-26136-0-54453600-1332819045.pngpost-26136-0-46817500-1332819065.jpg

Price...?

$2900 with DT240 hubs and DT aerolite spokes. The 35mm front rim weighs 435 grams, and the rear 45mm rim weighs 450g, which puts the whole set about on par with Enve’s existing 45mm clinchers — total wheelset weight is a claimed 1420g.
