I see the top MTB Axis models also come out with them. My LBS is listed as a dealer but i did not see any on his floor this weekend. JTK Posted July 27, 2012 Share axis is to Scott what Titan is to Merida right? At that price it does look pretty good. At least you know the geometry is more or less sorted. Recon silver up front is alright. Only real question is the wheels I suppose? For me I will wait for another two years before a new bike. By then the manufacturers would have moved back to putting Shimano groupies on their bikes edit. I see the wheels are 2.5kg, which is pretty heavy.... At least the Giant ones are 500grams lighter...
