NORT!!!!! ... thats just **** .... i remember we used to do that back in the day in XC - inverted stem was "king" .... turned out to be so horrible. but ... i suppose you have to ride what your sponsors tell you to ...

That stem almost looks like one of those el-cheapo stems the ballies put on their beachfront cruisers to raise their bars just turned upside down.

gummibear Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 NEVER ... a big wheel is always faster .... .... hahahahaha I saw 2 strange things yesterday and both were 29ers.One guy going hell for leather on the long downhill and when he braked he had about 10-12 spokes break off the hub.The other was a guy on a short steep hill and when he braked all his disc bolts broke off the hub...not sure if he had all 6 on though.
