The best part of getting a carbon bike as your starting point is that once you get more into it, you can then upgrade around the frame. If you go for middle of the range spec AND on an alloy bike, you're essentially putting off a further complete upgrade once you get more competitive.

Guys, still in two minds, I had a look at the following bike an Axis AR10 c, great spec, full Ultegra & carbon frame, @ R15500.

Please let me know what you think, as opposed to the Silverback Strela Concept.

 

I know that Axis was launched by Pro Bike in S.A as the Raleigh replacements, so apparently they are good bikes, but not sure...?
