We recently had a warranty claim on a used GT Fury bike that we bought, the part was replaced no probs. Omnico have been really brilliant with assisting us with warranties, on both our new and used bikes.

yes because that was tims old bike that was owed a frame replacement.

ps... what are the chances of leaving the booze away from the track (before and also after)? if dh grows the way we want it to, booze can become a problem as it has with every other sport where parents are involved.

Or it could be that we bought 9 GT Fury's, 3 GT BMX bikes and another 5 more for 2013, plus the 8 extra Fury's that are being brought in for new GT riders. We have a long term plan with Omnico that also includes the riders who purchase our 2012 bikes, so expect many new GT mounted riders in late 2012 and 2013. Warranties will be intact for the new owners of our 2012 bikes.

GL... that's a hectic undertaking from a dh team manager that doesn't work for Omnico. If i was you i would have asked Omnico before making a statement like that. if i was a potential buyer i would require a written undertaking from Omnico that they will warranty any secondhand GT frame should it crack? i know that of cases where they haven't...

come on people sort your disputes out elsewhere

I do believe that is what the PM function is for....... Does anybody know for sure what GL's arrangement is with Omnico? If not, shut it and move on. If he says there is a warranty, then let it be. If you don't believe him, don't buy a bike!

See you all on Saturday for practice where I expect you to dazzle me and my offspring with speed and skill!!

Syd ... You and I have been through this before and is not a discussion for this forum. ... and i told you the answer previously ... you cannot stop it so just leave it at that. You see the stuff the pros (the lighties proper idols) get up to after world cups ... if anything ... go whinge at them before starting on a couple of ballies who do this for fun and a keen to have a civilized beer after the event
