JoJaCa Posted May 25, 2012 Share My opinion is Specialized. I've been using Specialized for a while. I think that they are awesome shoes. Fit is perfect for my feet. I have the base model the Sport. It's not Carbon, but I get virtually no flex in the shoe. I would imagine that the carbon versions would be even better. Also - most of the Specialized shoes fit the same using the same size (I have tried the Sworks road and it feels like my Sport).
petatodd Posted May 25, 2012 Share My opinion is Specialized. +1, Spesh dominates the shoe market as far as riding goes, over 50% of riders I see wear Spesh. Market is right.
Thomo Posted May 25, 2012 Share Specialized makes some good shoes and is indeed very popular ... but we're not exactly spoilt for choice locally. Most reputable brands will will deliver a good product. (I'm thinking of Sidi, Northwave etc) That said, some people are more than happy with R599 Olympics. Try on as many as you can and buy those that fit best.
Buchu Posted May 25, 2012 Share Dankie. Ek het van Specialized vergeet. Hoop hulle het size 48 in voorraad.
JoJaCa Posted May 25, 2012 Share specialized do make size 48. But it's which shoe fits you best. I do know that if you choose specialized and later you want to get a better pair of specialized, they will feel identical on your feet
SeaBee Posted May 25, 2012 Share Agree with all above - both road and mtb my feet love Specialized shoes. And the below-carbon-soled versions don't break the bank - or didn't when I last bought shoes.
