Which mountain bike?

Hi guys I would like some opinions on what bike you guys think is the best mountain bike for +- R 10 000. It must be a hardtail 26 incher. I am looking for a lightweight bike with a good groupset. I am currently looking at the Merida Matts TFS 900, however I am a road cyclist so I don't really know much about mountain bikes.

Get the Merida 26er full XT for R13k

 

Edit: Nothing beats those Silverback Vida 29er in weight in value
