Argon 18 E-118

So I'm about to drop R50k on an Argon 18 E-118 with SRMA Red and just want to check in with anybody that have one of these before I take the final plunge.

 

If you have one:

- Are you happy with it?

- How easy is the bike to live with?

- How durable is it? i.e is is flimsy and has anything broken?

- Do you have the issues with the basebar/Areobars as described all over the internet?

- Anything else that I should know about this bike before spending this amount of money?

 

 

If the Argon turns out to be a no-go because of whatever issues I'll settle for the tried and tested P3 - any advise on P3 vs Argon vs any other alternative I miss?

do a search on the hub for Argon 18 as there are quite a few posts about then and the P3

It's a very good looking bike. I upgraded recently and that was 1 of the frames on my list. In the end went for a Scott plasma but my decision was based on finance so I opted for a cheaper frame. With all the research I did I don't think you can go wrong

Can't really comment on the E118 but I have a E112 which I've been extremely happy with.

I have the new agin 18 E-116 and let me tell u, it's and awesome ride. Would not think twice!!!
