After a longish ride (3 hours +) I tend to be quite tired and in need of sleep. 

 

I try to eat a protein strong snack/meal 1 hour after completion but I am still tired. 

 

I assume being tired is normal, but is there something (other than matchsticks and all that ....) that can be done to overcome the need to sleep?
