Rapunzel Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 also had hectic wind, rain and cold (2 degrees) driving from JHB to CPT yesterday. Feel for the truck drivers who'd stopped on the side of the road after dark and ended up stranded when the road was closed.

Clinton1 Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 It must have stopped at Van Reenen's for now though as there is very little happening in Pinetown at the moment. Although I would suggest tying down your small children tomorrow....  I half expect to be woken during the night with howling winds!
DaLoCo Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 What's JBay like?Raining quite a bit, but not too hard....I have seen it a lot worse last year. I think we might be ok for now. We have measured about 120 mm since yesterday, but it only rained very hard for about half-an-hour. The wind is a different story though. It's like having the big bad wolf thinking we are piggies  I actually saw the weather pass us across the bay, probably about 10 km from the coast, heading straight for PE, and it looked ominous
