M L Posted July 16, 2012 Share Upgraded my wheelset not so long ago. My wheels are now 800grams lighter. Pretty big difference. Cost me R3000 for that 800grams but I rate it was worth it. On numbers that equates to around 3-5 mins on a 20km course. Fitness level may have dropped a notch.
AJP Posted July 19, 2012 Share Hi I was just wondering. . .I have a 2012 Scott Scale Ellite (29er). Total weight with full saddle bag and the rest is around 13.9 kg. Currently I have tubeless tires but haven't converted them yet, just wondering if it will take some weight of the bike or just help with flats? I'm 23 and 1.83 m and 75kg been riding for about 7 months now.
