Rietvlei... I have started posting on the first page - lot easier :)

 

Doing the Race for Rhino's at VG on the 22nd. Anyone else doing it?

Yip, I am. Also planning a ride at VG on saturday if anyone is keen.

Another time thanks dude - I've said I would go to Rietvlei already. Come join us! Otherwise I see there is a charity ride that cyclelab is hosting. It's a roadie ride I think... blerrrgh!

Rietvlei is over 200km from me and I would rather not cycle than do a road race.

mmmh...sounds dodgy...might just ride Farms rather...

 

It's some of the best riding in Jozi... not as good as Thaba, but you wont be disappointed. But hey, up to you.

Take all the best bits of Modders and NF. That must make about 1 km of fun stuff. Increase fun factor by two. Now times it by about 12 kms and the answer will be Rietvlei.

 

It is one of those places where novices can ride slowly and good riders can ride very quickly with both having equal amounts of fun. And then you get really fun technical blue routes where you really have to know what you are doing to have any fun at all. :thumbup:
