Anybody seen or made use of the new bike shops in PE?

There is a small one that has opened in Russell Road (don't know it's name) and I see another one opening in 6th Ave Shopping Centre in Walmer.

Is the Walmer one JL Augustyn's shop? There is a massive picture accross the window of a guy riding a De Rosa (JLA's old bike sponsor).

Garth at Action cycles must be having nightmares of a new shop so close to him.

I try to support the small shop in Russel Road, Cycle Sports I believe it is. My friend's dad and mom runs it. Literally a mom and dad's shop. The owner, Theo has been cycling since before most of us was born. He is retired from his trade (demolition - pretty cool) and is doing this now just out of a love for the sport - not to make a living. You can be in the shop for hours listening to the stories he tells from racing back in the day, grabbing your fixed gear and racing a road race and still winning the sprint at the end. Even though they mainly only carry basic stock and spares, they are busy stocking up a bit. They can get you anything you want through, and Theo is a master mechanic and wheel builder. Give them a go!

Just been to the Augustyn's shop. Looks very nice. They stock Rocky Mountain and have some really cool looking bikes there. Coffee area... very neat Parktool equipped work area. They still have to get in some accessories, but it looks like it will be a lekker shop.

Went there last week and wasn't open yet. In fact they looked as if they still had a long way to go. Must have put in some serious work on the week end.
