I'm looking at the aluminium options, not going carbon fiber, my riding is to much "fall down" still to waste money on something I'm going to break... And then, comment on Hope components, bits. Thomson is lightweight, yes, but may be a bit weaker than others in the same price range (and are a tad expensive) What sort of riding are you doing though? If Trail / All mountain, then you'd be better going for something 710mm up, which Thomson don't do on the handlebar side.If AM, then you'll NEED a dropper post. That's next on my list! My current cockpits Brave Monster handlebar (750mm, heavier, but STRONG)KORE B1B Stem both less than R 300 on sale at CRC (bars R 200 stem R 280) DH bike Truvativ BooBar (780mm, light and STRONG)Funn Rippa stem (heavy as sin, but strong as phuck) so it all depends on what you want to do, and how you want to ride. It's useless recommending one company over another when they deal strictly in lightweight componentry and may not provide a bar / stem / post in your desired strength / length / width needs. G Cool... brands are much of the same, but some of the "tried and tested" that have a wide range of options are: EastonFunnTruvativBraveRitchey (more towards XC though - means lighter & narrower)FSAThomson (i think limited to seatpost and MAYBE stem in your case)SpankDeityAnswer and the list goes on.
