Ordered a watch on-line - Using Parcelforce - Opinions/Experience/Help Needed

Hi guys,

 

I know there are a multitude of these topics floating around on these forums.

I've followed all the advice/phoned all the Customs (JHB Int. Mail / Cape Mail / EMS) numbers but to no avail.

 

Basically ordered a Fossil watch from the UK last week Monday, is was dispatched using Parcelforce. From Wednesday last week I have been getting the following description from the Parcelforce Track and Trace search:

 

Your item, posted on 22/08/12 with reference <Tracking Number> has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in SOUTH AFRICA.

 

I'm not sure what this even means, as when I contact Customs they simply tell me that the package hasn't arrived in South Africa and I must phone back in a week or so.

 

I know there are a lot of people on this forum who have had lots of experience with Parcelforce, Customs etc. with regards to cycling goods, but I figure I might as well ask here.

 

Any advice would be great.
