Saw something on Cyclelab about the race but I assume they will use the same route as the Missile race as it starts at the military sports ground . Best to phone the organizer to confirm .

I don't know if it's open to the public for rides, because it's a military installation... Maybe the best option would be to go to the actual base, and speak to someone in charge there. I am keen to do some rides there as well, considering I live like, around the corner from the reserve...

Answer:

Acess is denied to all civilians. The area is a restricted military area. The public can only cycle there during the Military MIssile Mtb races hosted by the Mliitary Cycling club. THe Mliitary Cycling club may only cycle there once a month with the express permission of the Officer Commanding, which is given reluctantly, and only because routes need to be reconniered for the above mentioned races.

In the past people attempted to enter the area and were shown away, and the military cycling club almost lost access to the area to host the Military Missile race as a result of this trespassing.

So, do not even ask.
