Suikerbosrand - Heritage Day weekend

I'm thinking of doing a Suikerbosrand ride this weekend. Anyone else going or keen to join?

 

At the moment my plan is to head there on Saturday 22nd, but that's not set in stone.

There is a meals for wheels tar event there on sunday... I will be doing the 45km as a training run for 94.7....

It looks like the race goes past the south boundary of the reserve, so it shouldn't be a problem. And it still leaves Saturday and Monday, anyway .

 

Ps. congrats on your Fittrack competition victory.

Not sure..... Maybe contact the reserve and check with them.... The meals for wheels race will have a 90km, 45km and a 6km. other then that i have no clue what else is happening....

At current fitness, I don't think that will be a problem.

Meals on Wheels is an out and back starting from Sedhaven in Heidelberg on Sunday, does not go through the reserve

Monday is Fountains cycle race in Benoni.

Have heard of this Suikerbosrand place. Would like to do a ride there with somebody that knows the place and can show me around. I'm from Vanderbijlpark and planning on doing a 2 to 3 our ride on Saturday, Sunday or even Monday. Please PM me if you are going.

Doesn't seem to be much interest. I think I'll make a call depending on what the weather's like and how I feel when I wake up tomorrow.
