They seem expensive, but as all dropper post owners will attest, they really do transform a bike and are worth every cent. +1 I don't know how I will be able to go back to a normal seat post after riding with a dropper! I decided to strip my downhill bike and give it a revamp. The chain was equipped with a Quicklink....... Bare hands no chance! Had to use a set of circlip pliers to get inbetween the end plates to force that SOB apart! If I had been stuck on a trail somewhere it would have been a long walk home (No wait, it came off my DH bike so it would have been at most 2km back to the bakkie downhill where there would have been at least 5 guys offering to help!! ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
