It's the last Friday of September so it's time for another Critical Mass Stellenbosch ride!

When: Tonight (28 September 2012), 19:00

Where: meet at Brazenhead pub and ride around town

Terms and conditions:

1. Wear a helmet

2. Use reflective gear

3. Switch on the lights

4. Obey all traffic laws

The last one (31 August) was pretty low-key but come Summer, we'll get more organised. i.e. more marketing. Check the Cape Town event website for inspiration: http://www.moonlightmass.co.za/

The weather turned out to be dry after all. We had a good ride around town followed by a tasty beverage in Brazen. Thanks to those guys who were there.

See you at the next one.

you can not just change the name of something when it pleases you.

a critical mass is a critical mass not a moonlight mass or something else

just cause you are by the mountain and drink lots of wine, doesn't entitle you to change things as and when you please

thanks

Perhaps you can make a Facebook group. This was short notice else I would have done it as Cape Town is too far for me. I wanted to start a Helderberg ride as well but Stellies is way cooler for such an event

Of course we can. Rule 9b under paragraph 15F in the Stellenbosch Critical Mass/Moonlight Mass constitution says that we can. I would offer to send you a copy but it is confidential. In fact, it self-destructed just after I finished reading it.

EISH.

:w00t:

I suppose in Stellenbosch there is not much chance of being shot by an angry driver, run over by a taxi or mugged by some ganster. So critical mass should only apply to JHB and PTA and moonlight mass may be more suitable for you guys.

No that's true, but we have other dangers:

We are coming up to the last Friday of the month (26th October). It's time for another moonlight mass ride! Also, it has been several days since the temperature dropped below 10 degrees so it must be summer; the weather prediction for Friday evening looks promising.

We'll meet outside Brazenhead pub at 7pm and ride around until we get thirsty.
