I took my bike to Boven for an awesome four day MTBing weekend and spent the entire time in bed with flu.

RockCoach Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I know. Boven has some of the best trails in the country. The only time I left the chalet was a short walk to the waterfall to check out Glenn's new trail - still in progress. Oh my word. I only saw about 400m of it but it is going to be absolutely phenomenal. He has basically built switchbacks into the sides of a cliff going down into this beautiful ravine complete with picturesque waterfall. And then you start to descent the most awesomly flowing track along the river down this steep ravine. Because it is on the sides of a very steep ravine, almost every second metre of this trail has had to be built up with rocks, poles etc because. The work that has been put into it is astounding. You better know your stuff down these switchbacks though. The penalty for errors is massive. Wifey has pics. I will post when I get the camera from her. When you guys are all big, SIR M and I will take you there to test out the skillzzzz... Sidewinder. and DR ◣◢ 2
