I'm still pulling thorns out my arms from when I went over my handlebars at the VG race, so I learnt the hard way already and would rather just have sections that I can ride without fear of death.

How does the cradle loop grab you?

I also flew over the bars twice last time out but don't stress you're not going to die - relax and enjoy the ride or get out of the way and hike the bike down the hill.

I died a little inside after playing all my cards going up to greek church..........then BOOM up again! And my challenge ended right there.

ag lekker, me too. Nothing like a good cry to put things in perspective. Had a gel, a pee and a weep under a doringboompie at the base of the second church climb. Burnt all my matches by then.

2. The whole section in the game farm we DON'T ride the same route as the nissan, it's a new one. (only in the Cradle Quest)

3. We don't go down that steep rocky hill. We go down a steep bulldozed gravel road...60km/h + (faster and less technical)(only in the CQ)

4. Not nearly as rocky.

5. Not oom piet! Eric calls it Vulture Canyon. (only do this in the cradle quest)

6. The section going to Vulture canyon is also new single track!

 

The route is tough, but it just keeps you busy the whole time!

I think the total ascent is 1450m??

I assume this only applies to the 70? How does the 35 compare to the Nissan halvie?
