If the XCOSA is taking place at Modderfontein, then I would suggest holding the S&U ride at the XCOSA's usual back yard... Fountains/Groenkloof Fountains is very good for skills development. I have just found that since I have started riding my bike as if it was a ss that my fitness levels continue to increase in leaps and bounds. You are rather demonic on the climbs though!
