This is the most patheticaly organized event I have ever done. Why the hell would you let everyone wait till the kids are done before they may get their bikes.

 

Everyone out at once is a nightmare, after sitting around for 2 hrs and waiting to get your bike.

That was the main reason I stopped doing this series of Tri.

...and what was up with the swim? It was supposed to be started in waves, and instead the yellow caps and green caps started at the same time.

Apparently the pros ended up swimming head-on into the front age-groupers.

 

Also totally under prepared on the food and drink vendors - not that it affected us because my money was with my bike where I couldn't get to it...

Ouch. This doesn't bode well. Was planning to do the 2013 Tri-series as my first foray into triathlon. Hopefully they sort out these issues.
