This is the "twitter" ride. Is fantastic! I did it last year, and will be there again this year! Fairly easy pace, with some really big names in international cycling. If you have a look at

Normal guys on bikes. You'll quickly realise that there are quite a few other 'normal' (non-pro) guys who know them... so no gawking & staring + awkward questions

Did this ride last year - great morning out on the bike and a nice leg loosener before the event.

Had quite a big turnout even though it wasn't widely advertised, so expect quite a few more this year.

Pros are pretty relaxed, so have a chat.!

Maybe once you'e stopped to avoid any unnecessary risks. LOL
