  1. Thank you legends for your valuable input. Yes, road cassette, Shimano Ultegra to be exact.
  2. Hi riders!! I see some dude on YouTube cleverly machined an 11 speed cassette to fit his 10 speed free-hub. Link below: He did this by machining out about 1.6mm from the back of the largest cog. Any thoughts on this? I'm keen to get it done rather than rebuilding three wheel sets. Alternatively you can also file down the teeth on the free hub. I think the former idea is better.
  3. On the CSA website it mentions a race in Margate on 2 May that's open to Vets... Anyone confirm this?
  4. The local distrbutor for Stages will cost you about R10k dependng on the type crank arm you need. Carbon cranks aren't available though...
  5. Of course it works. It only gives you data from one leg though and then doubles it to give you a total power figure. I own the full Garmin Vectors and would opt for Stages rather...
  6. If they have stock it should be less than a week's wait.
  7. Concur, I've only dealt with NavWorld although I waited for over 4 weeks to get replacements pods.
  8. Haha... I have to admit I'm an a$$, I had put the battery in the wrong way round. Pedals are working just fine although I still have the power balance in my left leg's favour although on all the Wattbikes I'm right leg dominant...
  9. Started getting "power meter battery low" warning on my Garmin. Swapped the battery out and now it cannot find the power meter at all. So tired of this piece of &^%!
  10. Hmm... I might just head to Woodmead Drive then, thanks!
  11. Also, Witkoppen to Grosvenor along Main might be an option... http://www.strava.com/segments/3748281 Early in the morning the traffic lights are manageable.
  12. Going to try this segment tomorrow morning in Bryanston... just got to cross Bryanston Drive though. Middle section is flat... but steep (9%) in parts. http://www.strava.com/segments/8121327
  13. This is a good section but only 2km long with a good gradient, so maybe a 5min interval...
