Yup but remember my Carbon Wheels still have an Alu braking surface, the triple compound have help reduce the heat which is distributed through the carbon section.

 

I would not know how these brake pads would stand up against a carbon braking surface.

Dear Bored Girl,

Yes Koolstop brake pads are good. Beeter than std Shimano i don;t know. The SHimanos are pretty hard so they should be ok.

 

Have you cleaned your rims lately? With all that rain up in JHB, you may have collecged some oil from the road which has contaminted the pads and rims. Try cleaningthe rim with some hot water, sunlight dishwashing soap and a pot scouer dinges thingy argh you girls mos know what i mean.

 

then clean the brake pads with a some sandpaper. run them face down, the padsm not yours, on the sandpaper till they look clean and rough again. refit everything and run them in again.

if this does not help, resort to replacement.
