The one above (my wife's) runs a 32X17, you'd have to be superman to take it offroad. Nice gearing for some gentle commuting and runs to the shop.

 

Strictly speaking thou, with a 135mm back hub its actually just a rigid 29er?

The lines between rigid 29er and CX does seem to get very, very blurred lately. Alot of the new CX bikes come with 135mm back hubs since

the UCI started allowing the use of disc brakes at UCI races.

The geometry and tyre clearance sets it really apart.

Sweet bike, the black frame is mine, the white one my wife's, which we are going to build up very similar to yours, but just with a alfine 11 speed rear hub.

Are you using centre lock or 6 bolt discs? If 6 bolts, do you have any clearance issues on the fork?

6 bolt hope floating rotors which are fat at the hub with quite large nuts, still quite a bit of clearance.
