What's all this moaning about a little bit of rain.....? Rain = mud = more slippery trails = more odds of falling = higher heart rate = increased health benefits.... It's a no brainer! It even sharpens up your technical skills thumbup1.gif and has beauty benefits if you are that way inclined...wub.png

My 2nd ride there about a month ago, came onto that little wooden bridge next to the pond (just after crossing the B.H. heading towards emmerentia) with a little too much oomph at an angle, and realised i was headed straight over the edge. clamped down front brakes. Endo'd. Landed on the pipe in the bottom of the stream (feet first). Bike did a full forward flip, and in a single move, managed to grab the bike by the crossbar, swing it back onto the bridge, jump up, hop on and carry on riding.

since then, i take it easy over the bridge.

Yep. The other day, just after the rains I stood up on that bridge and the back wheel spun. Really slippery. I kept it upright but the rear was coming round and close to going over the edge.

Thanks from my side also to all who came out to enjoy a slightly wet and muddy Spruit.

Great ride indeed. Bombing the ST in Alberts at night is something different and really has to be experienced to know what we are talking about.

Great meeting mr Smolster and seeing the regulars again.

Just one question... Why do the cars keep flashing their brights at me as we cross over Beyers. :P

These group night rides are great. Thanks to all who joined.

Was great to see eddy back on the bike. Awesome to see WP cope well with her very first night ride and superb to see Hayley getting stronger and stronger every time we get out there. It is also nice to ride with guys who like to play like patches, goose, SIR M and Smolster "yes, yes, we are going to do the (rock/drop/jump/tree line) dude, calm down!" . SIR M, the specific training is starting to reap decent rewards now.

Glad to meet new faces Zook, bigbad norm and karma. Hope to see you guys back for more good fun riding. Hope I didn't forget anyone...
