Hi Guys / Girls

 

What do you think of this bike? Would you recommend it for a beginner?

 

I will be riding mostly jeep trails. Cost of the bike +/- R5 300.00

Try stretch your budget and look at this, or look for a 2012 model at a better price.

It's ok, but there are better bikes available for that price. If you are going to be doing jeep trails most of the time a 29er might be better.

and a 29er wont for me cz Im quite short. LOL!

Have a look at http://www.bicycling.co.za/bikes-gear/bike-buyers-guide/ as well. I like the scott aspect range. Silverback also has some nice budget friendly bikes.

The Titan 650b (27.5 inch wheels) range are hitting the shops first week in December. They have a model in your price range. 26 inch bikes are pretty much in their twilight years. Rather get the 650b.
