At 75 kg's with a low body fat his power to weight ratio made him enough of a "pure climber"

I agree with what you said there, however besides the fact that Le Mond has impressed people with his "outspoken" sorry @ss, what has he really done for this sport ?

He has the same credibility as Julius.

Actually I don't have an issue with LeMond but I believe the best person to run cycling needs to have exceptional administrative abilities, as in an MBA or equivalent and a background in anti doping

As to his qualifications? I'm not sure but he sure has hell couldn't be worse than the idiots running the show now.

It was mentioned earlier that those in charge should not be held accountable for things they could not foresee but thats exactly why they are in charge drawing huge salaries. To foresee and forestall. Chop their heads off, give someone else a chance and when he fails cut him down too. My frikking fees help fat pat buy his car, I hold him accountable for this cr@p.

Listen to what, his anti-Lance campaign which was for his own gain when he himself is a doper ?

If those are the only complaints he ever made then fine, but he has been carrying on like a lost little girl ever since I started watching the sport.

 

Even as a kid, I did not enjoy his attitude, looking at Fignon and Le mind next to one another, it didn't take long to figure out who the gentleman was.

 

If he gets this position your fees can fund his car, I for one will be using my fees for beer.

I really admired Fignon but it was watching LeMond win against Fignon that really got me interested in the sport. I was visiting family in Hawaii when I read his book many years ago. It is all about association I guess.
