16" wheel bike for toddler: I need a red one!

My son has outgrown his 12". Have decided on a 16" bike for Xmas, he is turning 4 next Feb. While there are lots of these little bikes around, he dearly wants a "red one like daddy". I thought of getting one, stripping it and have it painted red, but that would cost me the same as a desent new bike. Been at Makro, game, solomons etc and no luck.

Where else could I look? 1,2K is max price.

If you feel obliged to chirp about the proven fact that red bikes are faster, please do, but then u also need to tell me where to find one!

He is such an awesome little guy, and I hope that Father Xmas can deliver!

Thanks guys and girls!

Dankie Riaan, het gebel, hulle nuwe voorraad kom oor so week.

If he needs training wheels then check out the Giant ones (about RRP 125) as usually the standard ones with the bike a terrible. I just got them for my son for his 16" and now all he wants to do is ride. I found with his previous bike the training wheels kept on falling off and could not be set, the Giant can be set for any bike 12"-24"
