Garmin playing up

My Garmin Edge 500 is playing up

 

It keeps on going to Auto pause, its almost like the GPS is faulty although when I check the status everything is fine

 

I have tried new updates

 

This has happened before but seemed to sort its self out

 

all the other functions are good

 

I switched auto Pause off so now the timer just runs when I lose speed and distance

 

Any advice or similar problems

Just a thought. Are you measuring speed using gps or via magnetic pickup. If using gps why not install the speed sensor

(more accurate and reliable)

Wapad, take it to the agents and ask to have it repaired. Hope it still under warrantee.

Is it acting up when you are riding in a group? My 705 has the same issue when Im in a group ride, otherwise its perfect.

Good luck with that. If the branch does not have stock I am told that they are not dispatching replacement units until next year. My Garmin died on me this week end.

go and speak to Henk at CWC.He seems to know a lot about garmins.

And just like that it returns to normal, I think I'll get it checked out in the new year, thanks for the replies
