Trails in Potch/Parys

I've just moved to Parys from Cape Town, well in Sasolburg for now but will be living in Parys. Does anyone know any of any good singletrack / All mountain / downhill routes around the Parys / Potch area or if not does anyone know any landowners/farmers in the area who have decent hills and who are willing to let okes develop them. Following from that, is anyone keen to build trails if we can find a spot.

go to the anatomic factory and ask them. Attie Koekemoer and his family are very active in theMTB community especially in Parys.

There's the Dirtmax every months - you might pick up some trails there on the longer ride, but some of that route is through private farms. Otherwise the crater route is on a lot of (bumpy) district road.

Yeah, I've heard about the Dirtmax event and will check it out but I have a sneaking suspician I'm looking for something with more gnar
