Bianchi Posted January 13, 2013 Share How stiff are those wheels? What would happen if, forbid, you whack a [small] pothole with those wheels at 60kph? The wheels sound awesome, but the above is what I would worry about (the only wheels I know of in that weight range are the Zipp 202's) Edit: I lolled at the funny wheels ;-) Edited January 13, 2013 by Bianchi

tombeej Posted January 13, 2013 Share Might be very specialist. Like a 'hill climb' race. And for featherweight climbers only? Not sure if there are any roads left in SA that are blemish-free, esp. for racing? On your own there's a chance you can weave through the cracks, holes and glass, but in a bunch you hit a lot of stuff even if people at the front are giving warnings. So might be a very expensive wheelset that hangs in the garage 360 days of the year. Not for me, I'm afraid.
Cippo Posted January 13, 2013 Share There are lighter like axlightness and Lightweight which is close but at a premium price like the 202's. Might be a welcoming product just for hillclimbs. Something that light surely you will only be using it on special events and spending > 30k on something that hangs on the wall most of the time is a bit silly. Cippo Posted January 13, 2013 Share I'm sure BS will come in at under 10k so might be s good investment for years to come.
Pornstar Posted January 13, 2013 Share Hi, thanks for the info so far, Rider weight limit would be 95kgs and the warranty would be the same as our other wheels. Price looks to be around the R 10 000 mark
Pornstar Posted January 13, 2013 Share Also remember its only 24mm deep and some of the others you were talking about might be a deeper section as well

We have a guvernmint that does what guvernmints are meant to do. Not many blemishes on the roads around here.
