GT road bike

I want to buy myself a road bike. I mainly ride Mtb, so I dont want to spend a small fotune. I found that GT also makes road bikes. I like the series 2. Reasonably priced with mainly 105 groupset. .......and you have the black on black option

Which I really like. :-)

 

What bothers me, is that I actually never before seen a GT road bike and wonders if anyone can give me feedback?

From the ones I've seen, they look quite nice... At least, nothing amazing, but looks like it'll get the job done! For what it's worth...

The Tasol Pro Team (now Abantu) rides with GT road bikes. There is nothing wrong with them, it is just that GT is more renouned for MTB.

I considered the GT Series two, it's alloy, extremely good looking, well priced at about 9k and weighs in at just over 9kg without pedals. Good bang for your buck.

Thank you all. I eventually was presented with a much better deal in my opinion. An older bike with Ultegra groupset and very light. l decided that I will rather take that bike.
