Aaron_B Posted August 4, 2013 Share Nah, there was some pretty steep climbing. My Garmin recorded 1180m of elevation gain, which over 42km is pretty tough. There was a lot of descents that spiked the average speed.
Aaron_B Posted August 4, 2013 Share That said, It was't the toughest race I've ever done. Was easy compared to a race like Fine Breede. Edited August 4, 2013 by Sentinel

Aaron_B Posted August 4, 2013 Share Depends...did you upload your Garmin info through Strava or GarminConnect? There is an elevation correction enabler on GarminConnect

Servetus Posted August 4, 2013 Share much more! Race organisers said 1905m ascent I got 1824m , my friends got 1816m , 1771m , 1779m, 1787m , 1793m NOW I get to read this! After almost dying on the route yesterday, cramping (never had cramps before), walking almost every uphill in the second half, I finally understand why! Next time I'll pay attention to the total ascent before entering...
