Enforcement is not the main reasoning behind the PPAs position. This is: "The Pedal Power Association supports the use of helmets by its members, but we are against making the use of helmets compulsory by law, as it discourages cycling."

 

Says who? WHERE is scientific evidence that it discourages cycling? just because PPA say it is so does not mean it actually is like that.

 

PPA does however mandate the use of helmets in races they oversee - and they enforce that - so they are not even consistent in their approach.

I do feel better protected with a helmet for my mountain riding. I wear a good brand helmet and wear branded mountain clothes. Because branded things are better for our safty. When i do riding on the mountain so i wear helmet, good clothes, good gloves, shoes, and with all protction for our safty.
