Archicyclist Posted June 19, 2013 Share I have a Garmin Edge 800 and tried using it this morning. Upon switching it on the Garmin logo appears and underneath in small print it shows "loading maps". It somehow seems to be stuck on this and doesn't get into start mode.I tried resetting and all by holding in the top left of screen and switching it back on, but it still doesn't want to get into the start mode. LBKloppers Posted June 19, 2013 Share My Edge500 sometimes does the same thing. Very frustrating. I found connecting the unit to the laptop for a charge eventually clears the fault.
