Would be great to have a 22-25km/h average group to ride with. All the groups are 28 up to 35, and us slower folk always feel left out. What would be really great is when an old timer who isn't into racing for time anymore could help us slower riders when training!

Apologies for only responding now, got super busy after my post.

Was a great turnout on Saturday. Ride is currently open to anyone and everyone. Had a support vehicle the whole way and the pace was very chill. We averaged 26.5 as we made one 65 km group on the Bottelary/silo loop.

The idea is definitely to cater for people that want to go slow as the club has a fair amount of people that is looking for just that. Join up next time and see if you like it, I will post details as it becomes available.

Membership is R 250-00 a year and is for all disciplines (running, cycling, tri). You get massive discount at NB stores, but that helps much more on the running side. http://www.newbalanceclub.com/

The DC is only for members and we are looking to enter a racing, social and super social team.

Hi,

I am going to be joining the New Balance club in September as we need to belong to a club for WPTA. I will not be able to join for sat morning rides as I work Saturdays but will it be possible to put my name down for DC. Would like to take part in the event, preferably the racing team. Are you going to use this forum as a means of communication for group rides in the future ect?

Thanks,

Ryan
