Good Shoe for Flat Pedal

Hi

 

Ok, so got the MX80 Flat Pedal and now searching for shoes that won't leave me bankrupt.

 

Tried to get 5.10's locally but no one has stock and import duties to much to import.

 

Any other shoes locally availible that will work with the flat pedals - tried my Nike running shoes but no grip at all (sole is not flat / stiff)

Merrell shoes apparently work quite well.

Have you tried mountainmailorder.co.za for 5.10's? They are bloody expensive there though. I ride with a pair of Impacts, and they are great, grippy as hell.
