What do you suggest then. A 70mm?

The wider your bar the more it is going to stretch you forward. With a long stem it will be like driving a bus. I have a 40mm stem with my 770 bars. The wide bars give you control and the short stem speeds the steering up and helps you keep your weight centred - and to move your weight back quickly when necessary.

Hi to all of you,

I ride a Trance with a 120 stem, but after reading your comments I am quite tempted to try an 80mm.

You won't regret it.

Wideer bars, shorter stem... improves handling remarkably!
