Chamois - if anyone's interested

I was looking around for buying some chamois - just the chamois without the attached shorts and it seemed to be impossible. I found a supplier in China and I have a contact. I was wanting to fiddle and put my tailoring skills to the test as I think the price of apparel in SA is ridiculous.

 

I even contacted the guys in Europe and they put me on to a local clothing manufacturer but they were so expensive - found these guys

their prices are quite reasonable.

I bought 2 of the cheapest ones to play around with . (R69 and R49 respectively)

 

the nailed me on postage though but apparently if I order more it's cheaper? not sure about the logic there - but they send me a tracking number as soon as I sent POF and payment cleared.

just buy them from howsit sportswearin woodstock. i throw out my stock castelli free aero chamois and put there's in.

Don't joke - I'm actually a qualified tailor (well I have a certificate that says so) - and I don't even own a sewing machine anymore - i'll have to go visit mom.
